“Beverly’s” was an historic Chicken restaurant in Oklahoma City along famous Route 66

My vision was that its owner working at the station had parked the Superbird close to the street so he could admire his ride

I toyed with the idea of adding the Corvette’s owner talking with a car hop of the period

He has an office/station built behind his Chevy dealership as a place he could retreat to

Since I couldn’t find enough published photos to satisfy my research

On the sharper edged model I loved Machine Silver, my favorite color of the new Z06s at the time. In Dual Duesies I parked this car beside a real Colorado Springs wall advertising an early dealership for Auburn Cord and Duesenberg, complete with the prices for six and eight cylinder models.
