The Pro Cases are not water resistant, as they have holes in them, but if the rain is vertical or very light, this cap will help keep the rain off your Pocket. The hood's water resistance rating is IP22, which means it's rated for rain up to a 15 degree angle. Think of it as a rain hat for your Pocket.
