Lassen National Park Size:18"x24" As the Skoga River approaches

As the Skoga River approaches the coast it drops 200 feet off the cliffs which were once the southern shoreline of Iceland

It was a nice clear day in Denver as I walked down 14th Street to a meeting and I was photographing along the way

I then continued to enjoy a nice week of vacation on Maui

I had just walked down this path when I turned around to notice the scene of trees lining the walk with a hint of fresh leaves on the trees

Lassen National Park Size:18"x24" As the Skoga River approachesLassen National Park is located a few hours north of Sacramento. The park contains the southern most volcano in the Cascade Range which is Lassen Peak. Throughout the park you will find still active mud pots and other types of activity. I stopped in the park in late 2009 while on a road trip from Sacramento to Denver with a friend. Even in the short time we stopped at the park it was an interesting site to see in the fall and is on my list of places
