can have a new transformer fitted to convert it to 240v if required – the cost of this is £60 including VAT

The black plastic side panels have been cut down at the back to make them flush with the back of the unit (possibly to make it fit somewhere in the past)

and are increasingly sought-after to add character and warmth to modern digital recordings (the Arctic Monkeys used a Custom Copicat when recording their 'Suck It And See' album - see Sound On Sound magazine July 2011)

Dating from c1969, this uncommon beatbox is an Italian made machine used by many seminal Krautrock bands in the late sixties and early seventies Harmonia, Cluster, Roedelius, Kraftwerk etc it was badged as Echolette in Germany.
