Steel Heim Joints Size:5/16" Hook-N-Loop closure secures the buckleSteel Heim Joint. Available in 3 8" or 5 16". Generally, 6 8 heim joints can be used in the steering system: 2 per steering cable, 4 (3 8") per rudder set, and 2 (3 8") per drag link. Heim Joints can be threaded on each end of the drag link and connected to the rudder clover. They can also be threaded on each end of the steering cable and rudders to fasten them in place to your rigging. The size of the heim joint is determined by the diameter of the
