On the way home one day I stopped near the Denver Performing Arts Complex

In the spring of 2014

Most likely this piece just broke off of a glacier further up the versus some of the calving we saw in other areas just a few days earlier

From the top you are treated to views down the channel

The arches of the bridge drew in my focus in this image and finding a spot at the northern end of the bridge found me letting the arches flow in and out of the frame

Fishermen in San Diego Building On the way home oneDuring a trip to San Diego I found my way to Shelter Island and came across the Tunaman's Memorial. This sculpture is a symbol of courage of the fisherman who once operated out of San Diego Bay. Finding the right angle took a few minutes, but using the nice light I was able to capture the image of the sculpture and continue to tell the story of this memorial.
