This was brooding in barrel and now that it’s in bottle it is still brooding with an introverted nose that allows itself to be evaluated only after aggressive swirling grudgingly liberates glimpses of earthy

The palate is very elegant

Mossy aromas plus baked cherry and a touch of graphite – lovely classic claret aromas without any hint of austerity – this is generous

This seems almost light compared to either the Vaudésir or the Les Clos yet it is so much more refined

hence my question mark
