Night Sky in Namibia Reflection After about a quarter mile

After about a quarter mile I reached the Pump House which brought water into the mining area of Treadwell

When visiting the Salton Sea in Southern California I found quite a few abandoned buildings along the water

As I explored North Douglas in Juneau

Where I was standing in this picture is no longer possible since a building is being constructed right there

and capturing it on a yearly basis you can see the changes you may miss looking at it every day

Night Sky in Namibia Reflection After about a quarter mileStaying in the NamibRand Nature Reserve we were able to get out to photograph the night sky in a Dark Sky Reserve. The night sky lit with what we normally cannot see with our eyes. Using trees as a foreground, the milky way and much more of the galaxy and beyond is seen in this photograph.
