I noticed the collection of Columbines right next to the trail and having a camera with me captured this image

As some of our stormy and overcast conditions have moved on I headed to the same spot in late September this year as well to capture a similar image at sunrise

Due to the proximity to Los Angeles

As we stopped at a parking area in the dark we climbed up higher to get a perspective over the road

When I got to the lake in below freezing temperatures the steam was rising from the lake

Reflection of Fall Colors Presentation:Matted I noticed the collection ofIn the last week or so the fall colors around the Denver metro area have been peaking. As the color peaks I have been out photographing around the city and captured this image in Lakewood last week. Standing at the edge of the lake the color of the trees being reflected was vibrant and to add to this effect I moved my camera a little to add some blending of the colors in the image.
