100g Hand Dyed Dorset Horn Wool Top for Handspinning or Felting - 'Brambles' luxuries The whorl includes a sprig100 grams (3. 5oz) hand dyed Dorset Horn wool top. Dorset is a crimpy downland wool, easy to spin and pleasant to wear. Would also needle or wet felt, although it's not as fast to work into felt as a fine wool such as Merino. The fibre was dyed with random mixtures of colour, so the colourway is unrepeatable and unique. In some of our colourways the dye only partly penetrates the fibre in places, or splashes of colour are applied to give a 'patchwork'
