the grapes were whole-bunch pressed in Waterkloofs new gravitational cellar and fermentation was allowed to occur naturally relying solely on wild yeasts

Lot No 40 Rye Whisky 70cl Cynar Tasting NotesLot No. 40 Rye Whisky hails from Canada and is one of their most beloved drams. Unfortunately it was discontinued, but public outcry led to it being recently relaunched. A classic rye smell supported by orange and caramel notes. The palate is surprisingly soft and delicate with some spice but mainly brown sugar and vanilla flavours.
