This finely rendered brooch (circa 1880 1900) features a hand painted scene depicting a seated cherub providing a bowl of food or water to a dove. The exceptional enamel miniature is mounted in an 18k gold frame accented with two lion heads on either side. The piece bears French hallmarks and an unknown maker's mark of an M and an R inside of a diamond
