I called the piece Power Animal out of respect for this beautiful creature which is powerful not just in physical form but in spirit and character as well

I’ve captured him in a state of balance

and pyrite

Whats interesting is that so much of the first painting shows through since I didn’t completely paint it out

It went through a lot of changes and became less abstract as it went alongadding the flowers and bee late in the development of the painting brought it closer to this universe as we know it. Theres a portal opening up I think, and the whole of the universe is speaking through it,
