Matthiasson Schiopettino 2020 12x750ml 2020 hashval_A12FC84D986C9657BB68274ABA9B0037FFA2FD33 composed of dried cherries

Matthiasson Schiopettino 2020 12x750ml 2020 hashval_A12FC84D986C9657BB68274ABA9B0037FFA2FD33 composed of dried cherriesThe Schioppettino has fascinating flavors of cedar, black pepper, violets, and raspberry. It is incredibly fresh tasting, with a stony minerality underlying the cooling flavors. It has naturally low alcohol and a very refreshing and clean finish. The tiny lot of wine fit into only two puncheons. We used the larger format puncheons instead of normal barrels to slow down the aging and preserve the aromatics.
