With an audio buzzer which beeps with increased frequency the closer you get to an obstacle. Detection range starts at 1. 25m and gets you to 30cm at which point you get a continuous tone to alert you to stop. The buzzer is nice and loud and can be discreetly mounted somewhere suitable at the rear of the vehicle. There is also a switch for activation so it is not constantly going off
