This part has a textured finish on all Discovery 4 models - the adjoining wheel arch is painted body colour but this small part is always left unpainted with a slight textured finish

The Defender was not made with a headlight bowl behind the headlight - presumably to save costs - this can lead to water in the headlights and corrosion of the bulb connector
