Deer Lodge christmas The saddles are often handOriginal watercolour, with pen & ink, 8X8", depicting tipis of the style built by Blackfoot (Siksika) people of southern Alberta. The ranch I grew up on was sprinkled with the tipi rings left on ridges and coulees overlooking the Bow River. The artistic design of each tipi reflects the story given in a dream to the creator of the design, and are passed down through the matriarchal line. I think tipis are some of the most beautiful creations there are,
