Artek Aalto High Chair K65 - Birch FY25 Morgans Holiday Picks illustrated throughoutThe High Chair K65, an Alvar Aalto design from 1935, is distinguished by its long legs that are an example of the designers L leg innovation that was developed in collaboration with furniture manufacturer Otto Korhonen. As a continuation of Aaltos experimentation with bending wood, the duo created the L leg with a process that involved making slits in the wood, and inserting and gluing wood veneer strips. The low back of the K65 offers just the right
