The idea came to Aaron while tasting an unproofed down version of their regular Straight Bourbon. The blend consists primarily of 4 year old high rye MGP (36% rye), but with older barrels mingled into the blend. The whisky offers tons of ripe rich fruit and spicy barrel character at a reasonable price.
