This series of paintings capture some of my favorite sights

This Zinnia is from my California garden and comes back year after year

this was my first attempt at capturing the translucent crepe-paper like petals

This particular view of the bridge was taken from the upstairs gallery of the Uffizi Museum - what better place to be inspired to paint

Desert Sentries I Notecards For the 21" x 40"Watercolor on canvas 20 x 60 The saguaro cactus is a rare species, occurring naturally only in the Sonoran Desert. These giants tower over the landscape, providing shelter and a lofty perspective for native birds. Gila Woodpeckers and Owls make their nests inside the spines and Grey Doves, Quail and Cactus wren are often seen perched on the arms. Desert Sentries I is also available as a limited edition canvas giclee print.
