The shade is slightly flattened at the top

but the shade feels very stable (the crack is covered underneath the chrome top plate)

The inner part of the top cap shows rust signs

The steel is still very good looking

The wooden wall plate was painted white and spills over a little bit on the chrome arm (see picture)
