The wines richness remains balanced by nervy acidity and finishes with a glossy, lightning like finish. Daniel Vollenweider started out with just one hectare of old vines in 1999 in the Middle Mosel. Today, Daniels holdings are still small (four hectares), and all work is done by him a true one man show.
