Laphroaig 27 Year Old SMOS Director's Special 70cl Other Fortified Wine The palate has a coreThis special bottling has been produced from a single first fill ex bourbon cask that has aged for 27 years. Aromas of chargrilled mango skins and toasted banana with waves of dusty coal smoke explode out of the glass. An initial tropical sweetness plays on the tongue with flavours of passion fruit and baked mango which compliments the dusty, dark smoke with cola and ginger. The peat evolves into a rich tobacco and cherry jam.
